At Sofie Home, we want you to love your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. This policy explains how returns, refunds, and exchanges are handled.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery if all of the following conditions are met:

• Item is in brand new, unused, and unassembled condition
• All original packaging, tags, and accessories are included
• Proof of purchase (order number, name, or receipt) is provided
• A return authorization has been issued by Sofie Home

Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

• Items that have been assembled, used, washed, or altered
• Final sale or clearance items
• Custom, made-to-order, or personalized products
• Items without original packaging
• Gift cards

2. Restocking Fee

Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which covers inspection, processing, and handling costs. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Example: For a $3,000 order, a 20% restocking fee equals $600. The refundable amount would be $2,400, minus any return shipping costs.

3. How to Start a Return

Email support@sofiehome.com with:
– Order number
– Item(s) to return
– Reason for return
– Photos of the item and packaging (if applicable)

Our team will respond within 2 business days with:
– Return authorization (RMA)
– Shipping instructions
– Return address

You must ship the item within 7 days of receiving approval.

4. Return Shipping

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error
• We recommend insured, trackable shipping
• Returns without prior authorization may be refused

5. Refund Processing

• Refunds are issued after the item is received and inspected
• Processing time: 5 business days after inspection
• Bank posting time: 5–7 business days depending on your card issuer
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method only

6. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
• Provide photos and order details
• We will offer replacement, repair, or full refund at our discretion

7. Order Cancellations

• Orders may be canceled before shipment
• Once shipped, the return policy applies
• Refused deliveries are treated as returns and subject to the 20% restocking fee plus return shipping

1. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carriers, weather, or high demand.

2. Proof of Delivery

• Carrier tracking marked “Delivered” constitutes proof of receipt
• For high-value orders, a signature may be required
• We are not responsible for theft after confirmed delivery

3. Address Accuracy

• Customers are responsible for providing correct shipping information
• Address changes after shipment may incur additional fees
• Undeliverable packages are treated as returns and subject to restocking fees

4. Freight & Large Item Deliveries

• Delivery appointments must be kept
• Missed appointments may incur redelivery fees
• Inspect items before signing acceptance

In order to make shipping as quick and easy as possible we package each sofa in several smaller boxes.

This makes the boxes easier to move and faster to ship. Depending on your sofa choice you will receive anywhere from 3 to 7 boxes.

At Sofie Home we take pride in designing furniture that is easy to assemble. Our goal is enable anyone to build your sofa in less than 30 minutes.

Assembly is user-friendly, and detailed instructions are provided. No special tools are required, making it easy for you to assemble and disassemble modules when needed.
